Gateway
Computer Systems was the very first sponsor to furnish equipment to our project.
Curt Marx at the Appleton, Wisconsin retail outlet was instrumental in the
acquisition. Sadly Gateway has had to close all of their retail outlets, for
economic reasons, however the closing does not in any way reflect the quality of their
products. |
| Flight Com
has furnished one of the most unique systems for our simulator. It is through their
Intercom and Headsets that the Instructor will be able to talk to the pilot in the
simulator. Push button switches have been added to the Operator console and the
flight stick. Sound from the game is integrated through the headsets via the
intercom. |

Avionics brings one of the "real" pieces of equipment to our simulator, to lend
authenticity. Their MK 12D Nav/Com is the main unit in the center console, just
below the flight instruments. The unit lights up, the dials change the frequency and
the push buttons operate the "flop" over. The only thing the unit will not
do is transmit or receive "real" air traffic. |
CH
Products was the very first sponsor to contribute to our project. They make the
best flight sim control products on the market. Debbie McDowell has been very
instrumental in our project being able to move forward. They also make
"real" control
sticks for "Experimental" class airplanes. |
Hagstrom
Electronics was our second sponsor to contribute to the project. Without
their circuit boards, we would have NO switches in the simulator at all. These
keyboard encoders are the best there is and very user friendly to install. |
